Braunstein, PT, CFE, MPWCP is a licensed Physical Therapist specializing in the treatment of work related musculoskeletal injuries, functional testing, injury prevention and wellness in the workplace with a focus on fitness programs for obese individuals with and those with joint pain.

A native of New Haven Connecticut, Jan received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 1975.

After her undergraduate studies, Jan worked in Boston, Massachusetts, while employed at the West Roxbury VA, specializing in spinal cord injury rehab.

Jan moved to Atlanta in 1978 and had the privilege of working with and having wonderful mentors in Tom Howell, MD at the Howell Industrial Clinic and later with Walter Wildstein, MD at Georgia Occupational Medicine. As Director of Physical Therapy for these Occupational Medicine Clinics, Jan developed a specialty in Occupational Injury Rehab. In 1996 Jan opened her own private physical therapy and functional testing practice in Atlanta, GA. OnSite Rehab Physical Therapy is a recognized leader in providing work injury physical therapy services in Georgia.

Through her ongoing training at the GA Tech OSHA Training Institute and GA Tech Research Institute, Jan has a sub specialty in ergonomics and is a candidate for a Safety and Health Management Certificate from Georgia Tech in 2012. Jan has also been a lecturer at the GA Tech Annual Ergonomics Seminars since 1987 and has provided educational injury prevention programs for many Atlanta and National employers.
Jan currently resides in Marietta, GA with her husband Richard and has three grown children.
